Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for purchases made through the Nasib mobile application.
General Policy
All purchases made through Nasib are generally final and non-refundable. Cancelling a subscription does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any past billing period. Your access to premium features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
Subscription Refunds
Nasib subscriptions (Gold) are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Because these transactions are processed by Apple or Google, Nasib cannot directly process refunds for subscription purchases.
To request a subscription refund:
- Apple (iOS): Go to Settings > Apple ID > Purchase History, find the Nasib charge, and tap "Report a Problem." Alternatively, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Google (Android): Visit play.google.com/store/account, go to Order History, find the Nasib charge, and select "Request a refund."
Refund decisions are made by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. Nasib has no control over these decisions.
Important Notes on Subscriptions
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Cancelling a subscription does not provide a retroactive refund — you retain access to Gold features until the end of the paid period.
- Deleting the Nasib app or your Nasib account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through your device's app store.
- Cross-platform subscription transfers are not supported. If you switch from iOS to Android (or vice versa), you must cancel your subscription on the old platform and re-subscribe on the new one.
Consumable Purchases
Store items purchased through the Dekken (Nasib Store) are consumable, one-time-use digital items. These include:
- Dafshe (Boost) — 30 minutes of top visibility
- Ya Latif (Super Like) — prioritized like with star indicator
- Awwal Nazra (First Impression) — be the first profile new users see
Consumable purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable between accounts. If you delete your account, any unused consumable balances are permanently forfeited with no compensation.
Purchased consumables do not expire. However, consumables included with a Gold subscription (such as weekly Super Likes) reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.
Virtual Currency (Dahab & Njoum)
Nasib uses a dual virtual currency system:
- Dahab (ذهب) — Purchased with real money through in-app purchases. Used to send virtual gifts to other users.
- Njoum (نجوم) — Earned when you receive gifts from other users. You receive 75% of the gift's Dahab value as Njoum (the remaining 25% covers platform and processing fees). Njoum may be redeemed for real money through Whish Money — Lebanon's licensed digital wallet provider — subject to minimum balance requirements and a holding period. The cashout flow is available from the Wallet screen inside the Nasib app.
Both Dahab and Njoum:
- Are non-refundable once purchased or earned
- Do not constitute real-world stored value (Dahab cannot be exchanged for cash; Njoum can only be cashed out through the in-app redemption process)
- Are non-transferable between accounts
- Are permanently forfeited upon account closure — whether voluntary or involuntary — with no compensation
- Virtual gifts sent or received cannot be reversed, refunded, or exchanged
Regional Exceptions
Certain jurisdictions provide additional consumer protection rights that may override the general policy above:
- European Union / EEA / United Kingdom: You may have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, as provided by applicable consumer protection law. This right may not apply if you have already consumed or used the digital content.
- Lebanon: Refund rights are governed by Lebanese consumer protection law (Law No. 659 of 2005 and subsequent amendments).
- Other jurisdictions: Where local law requires refund rights that exceed what is stated in this policy, those local laws will apply.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider instead of requesting a refund through the appropriate app store, Nasib reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account pending investigation. If the chargeback is found to be unjustified, you may be required to repay the disputed amount before your account is restored.
