Child Safety & CSAE Prevention Policy
Nasib has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child grooming, or any conduct that endangers minors. This policy describes the measures we take to prevent CSAE on our platform and our commitment to swift response when violations are reported.
Age Restriction
Nasib is restricted to users 18 years of age or older.
- Age is verified at sign-up via phone number, government-recognised date-of-birth declaration, and (where collected) ID verification.
- Accounts that misrepresent age are permanently banned upon detection. We use behavioural and image-based heuristics in addition to declared age to identify minors who attempt to bypass the age gate.
- We comply with applicable laws including Lebanese Law No. 422/2002 on the Protection of Juveniles, the United States PROTECT Act, and EU Digital Services Act child-protection provisions.
Content Detection & Moderation
- All profile photos pass a content-moderation pipeline before being shown to other users. The pipeline combines automated detection (CSAM hash matching, age-estimation models, NSFW classifiers) with human moderator review for borderline cases.
- All in-chat media is scanned in real time. Content matching known CSAM hashes is blocked from delivery, the sender's account is immediately suspended, and a report is filed with the relevant authority.
- Profile photos are required to clearly show the user's face. Images that depict minors, are sourced from social media of minors, or fail age estimation are rejected at upload.
Reporting
Any user can report suspected CSAE content directly from the app:
- Open the offending profile or chat
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋯)
- Select Report → Underage / CSAE
- Add details if applicable
Reports flagged as CSAE are escalated to our trust & safety team within 2 hours, 24/7. Confirmed reports lead to immediate account termination, content removal, and where required, referral to authorities.
You may also report CSAE concerns directly via email to safety@nasib-group.com. Email reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
Cooperation with Authorities
Confirmed CSAE incidents are reported to:
- National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) — for incidents involving United States users or content hosted on US infrastructure
- Internal Security Forces (ISF) — Cybercrime Bureau — for incidents involving Lebanese users
- Local equivalents — for users in other jurisdictions, in accordance with applicable mutual-legal-assistance treaties
We preserve evidence in line with applicable preservation requests and respond to lawful requests for information from competent authorities.
Account Termination
Any account confirmed to have engaged in:
- Sharing, requesting, or producing CSAM
- Soliciting minors (grooming)
- Misrepresenting age to bypass the 18+ requirement
- Attempting to identify or locate a minor for exploitation
is permanently banned, with the underlying device and payment identifiers blocked. We do not allow appeals on confirmed CSAE violations.
